Availability Calendar for Your Holiday Home on Your Own Website

With Rentiplanner, you add an availability calendar for your holiday home directly to your own website. Guests see live when your property is free, and you stay on top of everything through automatic iCal synchronisation with Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo.

What is an availability calendar for a holiday home?

An availability calendar for a holiday home shows guests which dates the property is free or occupied. Owners connect it to Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo via iCal, so that all channels stay automatically synchronised and double bookings are prevented.

If you rent your holiday home across multiple channels, a central calendar is not a luxury but a necessity. Without synchronisation, you risk booking the same week twice: once via Airbnb and once via your own website. The result is a frustrated guest and damage to your reputation.

Rentiplanner solves this by keeping one master calendar and automatically synchronising it with every channel you use. You manage your availability in one place, and everything else takes care of itself.

Prevent double bookings with iCal synchronisation

iCal is an open standard supported by all major rental platforms. Rentiplanner imports calendars from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Google Calendar directly, and exports your master calendar back to those same platforms. Every booking is visible everywhere in real time.

How it works: you add the iCal export link from each platform once in your Rentiplanner dashboard. After that, calendars are refreshed automatically every hour. Block a date manually, and it will be locked on Airbnb and Booking.com within the hour.

Embed the calendar on your own website

Rentiplanner generates a small embed code you paste onto any platform: WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow or plain HTML. The calendar loads quickly, adapts to your site's colour scheme, and works on desktop and mobile.

Guests see straight away which dates are still available, without having to email or phone you. That saves you time and gives guests a professional impression of your holiday home.

Frequently asked questions

Can I try the availability calendar for free?

Yes. Rentiplanner offers a free starter account with no credit card required. You can activate the calendar, iCal synchronisation and the embed widget right away. Paid features such as booking requests are only activated when you are ready.

How long does it take to add the calendar to my website?

About five minutes on average. You copy the embed code from your Rentiplanner dashboard and paste it in the right place on your website. On WordPress that's a HTML block; on Wix or Squarespace it's an embed widget. The calendar appears immediately.

How does the iCal synchronisation with Airbnb and Booking.com work?

You add the iCal export link from your Airbnb or Booking.com account once in your Rentiplanner dashboard. Rentiplanner fetches the occupied dates every hour and blocks them automatically in your master calendar. Blocked dates are then exported back to the other platforms.

What happens if a guest books a date through my website at the same time as a booking comes in on Airbnb?

As soon as a booking is confirmed in Rentiplanner, that date is blocked and synchronised via iCal to all connected platforms. New requests for that date are automatically declined. Synchronisation happens every hour; during peak periods we recommend also using manual block dates.

Does the widget work on a WordPress website?

Yes. You paste the embed code into an HTML block or via the Elementor widget. The widget is responsive and adapts to the width of your page. No additional plug-ins or theme changes are needed.

Can I set seasonal prices in the calendar?

Yes. In your Rentiplanner dashboard you set rates per night, per weekend, per week or per period. Those rates are visible in the widget on your website and included in the confirmation email sent to the guest.

Is the calendar available in Dutch and French?

Yes. Rentiplanner automatically detects the guest's browser language and displays the widget in Dutch, French, German or English. You can also set a preferred language per widget.

How do I get the iCal export link from my Rentiplanner dashboard?

Go to Calendar in your dashboard and click 'Share calendar'. You will find a unique iCal link you can copy and paste into Airbnb, Booking.com or any other calendar app. The link is always up to date.
